Projects
I am not into blowing my own trumpet – my passion is to highlight and promote the great in others and below I have listed some of the exciting projects I have had the pleasure and experience to work with.
If you are driven, ambitious and inspired to take action then we will work brilliantly together.
Rethink Rhyl
Joining forces with a leading Liverpool creative agency I was asked to head the direction and management of Rethink Rhyl’s Social Media Campaign.
Rethink Rhyl’s campaign spanned a 6 week intensely active programme where we were on a path to a public engagement event for the dramatic redevelopment of Rhyl pier-front.
From planning engagement, rallying support, talking and listening online, involving radio coverage and national press, we were able to challenge the thinking of the historic seaside town and generate popular support for the future development proposals.
What we achieved :
• National Press Coverage with ITV
• Engaged audience on Twitter, Facebook & Instagram
• Hugely positive feedback through Public Consultation event just days before Christmas (a time when most active audiences are generally in the mood for festive fun and not construction proposals!)
Furness Academy
I have had the pleasure of working with the Business Manager of Furness Academy for 6 years in 3 different organisations.
Being sponsored & supported by BAE systems the Academy wanted help communicating their values, increasing their student recruitment & raising their profile in the region.
After creating a marketing strategy, a social media content plan, new website & consistent marketing communications they had incredible results.
What we achieved :
• Record Yr 7 intake in Sep 2016 with additional 52k revenue
• 98% of Academy Parents recommending to other parents
• Engaged community events supported by high profile inspirational speakers
• Achieving their values ‘At the heart of their community’ with dramatic increases in public perception
TEDx
This has got to be one of my favourite projects as I was able to bring together my “Dream Team” of people that I have worked with over the last 10 years to help the event sell out within days of opening.
Back in January of 2016 I mentioned to my friend:
“What would it take to bring a TEDx to our hometown of Nantwich”
Now Ted Talks are one of my favourite online listening channels and it was a joy to bring it together with friends, colleagues and inspirational speakers from our neighbourhood.
If you haven’t heard about TED Talks before they are created in the spirit of “ideas worth spreading,” – the TEDxprogram helps communities, organizations and individuals produce TED-style events at the local level.
The project made a huge impact for the local community as well as being fun, collaborative, engaging, it gave speakers the chance to share their ideas and make an impact.

After running a TEDx Online engagement workshop speakers have had their talks shared and mentioned in a variety of high profile magazines and blogs including the Chair of the Royal College of General Practice & GP Online.

This is how I met my creative partner in crime.
Many projects we start as acquaintances then clients and come out the other side as friends – with this clever lady being no exception.
George is a fantastically talented designer and one of the most approachable, down to earth people you could meet – a dynamic duo to make her passion for graphic design extremely profitable.
What she was struggling with was time to support a growing creative agency model.
We worked together to stop trading hours and start packaging her unique offerings so clients would value her work even more than they did before.
Along with other savvy business tweaks George has seen over 45% increase in business revenue over a 12 month timeframe of working together. She is booked out three months in advance, has increased her pricing structure and now asks me not to send her anymore work. Great result don’t you think? 😉
What the client says:
“Fiona has both the skills and experience to help you get results you need in your business” George Meaden, Owner Squiggle Graphics.

You can’t have all work and no play and HJ Beers has a brilliant way of expressing this.
In fact everytime I ring Harvey he’s either in a pub already or about to go and ‘try’ another new beer establishment … for taste testing and knowledge purposes so I am told!
With a huge amount of knowledge and experience in the industry I was honoured to be asked to ‘craft’ his brand with my favourite creative partner.
We were told rustic with an element of fun, but with the true knowledge of the specially crafted ales seeping through. Well did we achieve it? We would like to think so.
What the client said:
“As with everything in my business and most others I would imagine – I tend to need a quick turnaround and any communication to be brief, to the point and relevant. Fiona hit the spot every time.
She is a joy to work with, has endless drive and energy, gets a grasp very quickly of the brief but most of all she has a great sense of humour as well. I’ll be back!” Harvey Nurse, Director of HJ Beers.

Now this was a great project to work with the KidzKitchen team.
KidzKitchen run a business close to my heart – they help tiny tots and children to eat healthy meals and enjoy cooking choices that are exploratory and fun.
I ran a three hour training afternoon for them covering all aspects to define and engage their audience. We looked at how to create unique messages with tools and tactics which would make running their social media campaigns simple and hugely rewarding.

Working with this fantastic entrepreneurial businessman who had a forward thinking idea – to bring about a new breed of burger that is gluten free with a fruit infusion.
We worked in partnership to create engaging content for his brand new website that would target both the trade and home market he was looking to entice.
After getting web ready we got together for an intense training session to get them ready to launch and engage their audience through social media. Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
